Motives Behind Establishing Heads of Overseas Chapters for EAPJG
Team European Chapters & Beyonds
EAPJG has decided to establish heads of its overseas chapters across Europe and beyond. This strategic decision is driven by several compelling reasons and motives aimed at enhancing the association's reach, influence, and effectiveness.
Establishing local heads in various regions allows EAPJG to advocate more effectively for the rights and interests of our journalists at both local and international levels. Local journalists can build stronger relationships with regional media organizations, government bodies, and other stakeholders, thereby enhancing EAPJG’s influence and presence. This integration helps in sharing best practices, fostering unity, and enhancing the overall professional standards within the community.
Different regions may have unique challenges such as censorship, political pressure, or safety concerns. Local heads can develop strategies and solutions tailored to these specific challenges. The decision to establish heads of overseas chapters is a strategic move aimed at enhancing the reach, influence, and effectiveness of EAPJG. By addressing region-specific needs, improving coordination, and promoting high standards of journalism, EAPJG aims to create a robust and supportive network for Pakistani journalists worldwide.
